Dr. John Castro has been proudly providing comprehensive eye care as a dedicated optometrist for 27 years, serving patients across Arizona’s West and East Valley since 1998. A graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry, Dr. Castro relocated to Arizona to begin his career and is a proud member of the Arizona Optometric Association.
Having personally experienced the challenges of dry eye; Dr. Castro is especially passionate about holistic dry eye treatment. He actively mentors and educates fellow optometrists on addressing dry eye by treating the whole body—an approach inspired by his own commitment to health and wellness.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Castro embraces a fitness-focused lifestyle and believes in living life to the fullest. His favorite pastimes include weight training, golf, pickleball, basketball, hiking, and tennis. When he’s not caring for patients or staying active, he values spending quality time with his family and friends.
